Support automatic builds on SCM commits when using parameterized repositories in VB Studio

in Idea Lab – Visual Builder Studio

In Oracle Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio), the option "Automatically perform build on SCM commit" is currently only available when a repository is explicitly selected (hard-coded) in the build job configuration.

When using parameter values to dynamically specify the repository, this option is unavailable.

As a result, we are forced to create separate, repository-specific build jobs and pipelines instead of reusing generic, parameterized configurations.

Requested Enhancement

We would like Oracle to make the "Automatically perform build on SCM commit" option available when repositories are configured through parameters.

This would allow us to create reusable, parameter-driven build jobs and pipelines that automatically trigger when a commit is made to the repository specified by the parameter.
