Difference between receipt accounting and cost accounting
Summary:
can someone please help with the difference between reciept accounting and cost accounting.
we have procurement(PO-Expense/Inventory Items), inventory(Transfer Order) and finance modules enabled in our instance.
we would like to know the ESS job which needs to be run before and after create accounting ( subledger - receipt accounting and cost accounting ). Also need to understand complete flow.
As of now, I'm aware of this processes only
- Transfer Transactions from receiving to costing
- Transfer Transactions from Inventory to costing
- Create Receipt Accounting Distributions
- Create Accounting - Receipt Accounting subledger application
