Workforce Compensation Plan Approvals

Summary:

We have the following approval requirement for the annual bonus compensation plan:

Emp>Comp Manager 1st Approver>HRBPs(Reviewers)>SLT Final Approver

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

To meet this I have:

1. Created a common lookup for the Compensation Manager and added to employees employment screen

2. Primary Hierarchy source uses Other Hierarchy with Manager Type of Compensation Manager - in testing this makes the 1st Approver the final approver

3. Reviewers source is using a formula to determine the HRBPs to review only not update

My question is can I also use a formula for the secondary hierarchy which I need to find the AOR for SLT, and if I can, how does the approval sequence flow from 1st Approver to Final Approver?
