Invoices - Line variance hold due to 0.01 differences
Summary:
Invoices - Line variance hold due to 0.01 differences
Content (required):
We have an ongoing issue where invoices are generated, with this type of scenario:
- Invoice Header value: 37.68
- Invoice Line Value: 31.41
- Standard Tax Amount: 6.28
Line Value + Tax Value = 31.41 + 6.28 = 37.69
Because the Line Value + Tax Value is 0.01 greater than the Invoice Amount, a Line variance hold is placed against the invoice.
I have seen this Cloud Connect post raised by @Nagaraju-Oracle :
Where @Dhaval Patel-Oracle fed back with:
If this is about Invoice is going on Line Variance hold because Calculated Tax amount is not exactly matching with the tax coming in invoice and hence, creating mismatch between invoice amount and sum of lines amount (including tax line), then you can pass tax amount (coming from supplier) as Tax Control amount at line level so that derived tax amount will be adjusted to match control amount and no mismatch will occur.
