Siebel IP 16 - certification with Oracle Linux 7

Hi,

As per the certification matrix, Siebel IP 16 is certified with OEL 7. Further opening OEL7 link it shows as not certified below -

Similarly, for OEL6 as

On the left-hand side, it says "Certified Product" where are on the right hand side it say "not certified"..


It's confusing :-). Can anyone confirm?

    Hi,

    Thanks for posting this question.

    IP16 is a 5 years old patch to the Siebel 8.1 product. It means that not all products listed in Certifications tab are still supported by their vendors. We strongly suggest our customers to move to Siebel 21.x version and 21.7 is the most recent update available.
