how to read inputs from hardware scanner into my oracle ADF web application ?

Hi All,

I want to read data from hardware scanner and store the inputs into my oracle ADF application ( like POS application ) , I found many articles but there is no one covers what I'm looking for, so is there any one has any reference or document about my requirements ?
