Will it be possible to convert a non-worker to an employee

Hi Experts,

We are exploring possibility to find way to convert an existing non-worker to employee so that we can retain the same person number.

    On people screen date track to the effective date of the action and under "Other" you can change "Person Type Usage" to Employee and save the record in "Update" mode. Employee number remains the same.

    Thank you for responding. Can you please help with some snapshots so that I can see which 'People' option you are suggesting us to proceed with?

    FYI - We are exploring this option in Fusion HCM.
