Changing hiring status: frozen position requires proposed end date
When changing the Hiring Status from Active to Frozen, the application requires me to enter a Proposed End Date on the Position Transaction Screen. The system does not allow me to proceed without this.
Does anyone know when the Proposed End Date is required and what purpose it serves by making it required?Why is an end-date required for frozen position? Is there a way to make this non mandatory?
If it helps, here are the navigation steps I used:
Work Structures -> Position -> Position Transaction -> Update Position ( select a position) -> change the
Hiring Status from Active -> Frozen and try to save without entering Propsed End Date for Hiring Status.
