Upgrading from 9.2.0.6 (without RAC) - 10gR2 or 11g (with RAC)

Hi everybody!  
We are planning to upgrade our databases from version 9.2.0.6 without RAC to 10g with RAC or 11g with RAC.

What Oracle recomend? 10g or 11g? 11g with RAC is totally stable?

Another point: We don't want to use ASM. Is OCFS2 compatible with Hp-UX 11iV3 (11.31) ? Should we use VCFS?
