10.2.0.4 db upgrade error (AIX)

 We're attempting to apply the 10.2.0.4 patchset to our database home & we keep hitting the following error in the "Product-Specific Prerequisite Checks" screen:

"Checking Oracle Clusterware version.......       Status=not executed".

 

Errors:

Checking Oracle Clusterware version ...

Actual Result: CRS_HOME is null.

Check complete. The overall result of this check is: Not executed <<<<

Recommendation: You must upgrade all nodes of the cluster to Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.4.0.  If you have upgraded some but not all of the nodes to use the 10.2.0.4.0 version of Oracle Clusterware, then the 'active' version will not be 10.2.0.4.0.  You must upgrade all nodes in the cluster to Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.4.0 before proceeding with this installation.
