Is it possible to cancel a deliverable in project mangement which has been interfaced to purchasing.

 I need to cancel a deliverable created in project mangemnt but tht has been interfaced to purchasing. However in the create deliverable screen in pjt i'm unable to change the status .
Please suggest.
