CDC process aborts with ora-1438

 Asynchronous Autolog Online CDC is configured between two DBs in the AIX 5.3 platform.

CDC Apply Process is getting aborted, with this exception in the dba_apply_error table "ORA-01438: value larger than specified precision allowed for this column".

There is no mismatch in datatype, precision and scale between the source tables and change tables.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
