Purchase Order Ship To Organization

 Can you create a purchase order in one operating unit and specify a SHIP TO  ORGANIZATION that is in a different operating unit?

The documentation simply states that if the PO line references an item number, the item must exist in the ship-to organization that you are trying to select.    However, I have tried testing this and the LOV for SHIP TO ORG will only show organizations that have the item defined and are in the same operating unit where the PO is created.
