Problem with creating new database under Win2k8 on HP 2 processors machine
Hello
I have a problem. I tried to install Oracle10g / Oracle11g under HP server: DL580G5 - that is 2 Xeon processors (2.6GHz) with 8GB RAM. This is working under Windows Server 2008 x64. There are two Network cards (physically), both of them are enabled, first one is used, second is disconnected. I use Oracle 10g Release2 and Oracle 11g Release 1.
After installing a database, restarted Oracle and configured Listener I get an error like: ORA-12560:Protocol adapter error. After that is information OUI-25031 from Database Configuration Assistant (DCA). In logs I found entry about Listener:
Profile configuration complete. Listener started at port:1521 Oracle Net Listener Startup.
