Recover/restore back in time

  I have a database that was just created a few days ago. There are no backups of it yet but we can recreate it from the dump file we used initally.
SOMEONE dropped a critical table yesterday. - No one is admitting to it.
Can I rebuild the database by importing the dump again THEN RECOVER applying the archive logs UNTIL CANCEL and quit before the drop occured?
