Junk characters in Change Tables (of source table having blob column)

CDC Apply Process is getting aborted, with "ORA-01438: value larger than specified precision allowed for this column".

When tried to re-execute the transaction, junk characters are being inserted into particular change table ( whose corresponding source table has a blob column which has been excluded in the CT, as it is unsupported )

Asynchronous Autolog Online CDC is being used on AIX 5.3 platform, and there is no mismatch in datatype, precision and scale between the source tables and change tables.

Can anyone help to fix this issue ?
