configurator workaround

we have a big Configurator Problem!!
 
Short description:
if we configure a Product with CFG everything would work....
but if the quote becomes a offer we are not longer able to reconfigure our product with the std CFG.
now we need a customization on 9 interfaces....??!!
we want to use CFG more times for a offer!
our customers can make changes on nearly every time!!
they also can make changes while the wip-jobs already exists....
so we have to reopen the offer, make the changes in CFG and update the offer!
after this we must se the differents in the offer price and we must easy find out which wip jobs we have to change!!
