What all it impacts and how to manage if I want to change an Operating Unit (OU) for an existing Inv

Hi Gurus,

I have requirement to change an Operating Unit (OU) for an existing Inventory Org of different OU

We have OU1 and OU2 and Inventory Orgs as  

IO1_BG1_SOB1_LE1_OU1

IO2_BG1_SOB1_LE1_OU1

and

 

IO1_BG1_SOB2_LE2_OU2

 

Now we have the requirement to change the OU for IO1_BG1_SOB2_LE2_OU2 to IO1_BG1_SOB2_LE2_OU1  

Can you please help me weather the above is possible and what all steps and precautions are required? I checked in the development instance and it allows me to change the OU to OU1 for
