AR Invoices Print Process to Generate Output inXML

Hello All,
We are planning to use XML publisher to generate AR Invoice information.. Could anyone guide me how to do that. Is there any document showing the steps.. Now we are getting the data as text format and then we will send the data to another tool which will generate the invoices...

Help would be greatly appreciated..
