10G RAC on RH5.2 - Remove Crossover Interconnect

Hi All,
I was hoping someone could answer the following question, but first the situation...

Our Oracle 10G RAC system was originally setup using a crossover interconnect.  I would like to remove this as we are getting many "Global Cache Blocks Lost" errors in the EM Console.  In it's place we will be using a dedicated switch with no other traffic aside from the 2 RAC nodes.

Are there any changes needed at the OS level (RedHat 5.2 (Kernel 2.6.18)) to change from the crossover cable to straight cables and switch?

(Oracle Metalink support has said no changes are needed in Oracle to effect this change.)

Howdy, Stranger!
