Configure database control in high availability DB environment (veritas cluster)

Has anyone configured 10g Database control on the databases under vcs (veritas cluster services) control? By default, it uses hostname and I tried to use vcs alias using the parameter -Host <alias> and it didn't work. Also, I tried to modify emDRepconnectDescriptor with host pointing to vcs alias and it doesn't work as well. Any help would be appreciated.
