Existing customers reluctant using EBS
I have experienced this with various clients who had already implemented Oracle EBS and they do not find ease using EBS application (especially Form based version, I do not know about R12). End users complain that they are not comfortable with EBS application/GUI.
Many clients plan to phase out exisiting EBS and start using legacy or be-spoke system.
Clients management also agree that user license is costly and upgrading to R12 is cost much more.
This issue needs immediate attention form Oracle and also implementors/consultants. We put our level best effort to convince them to continue with EBS by giving many options like extensive training but some times cost on upgradation and end users comfort complains weight more.
