srvctl not showing db status

We have a 3 node RAC running 2 databases. I was trying to configure one of them using srvctl: sudo srvctl add database -d upaprd -o /opt/oracle/product/10gR2/db
sudo srvctl add instance -d upaprd -i upaprda -n pogoltdb1a
sudo srvctl add instance -d upaprd -i upaprdb -n pogoltdb1b
sudo srvctl add instance -d upaprd -i upaprdc -n pogoltdb1c

sudo srvctl status database -d upaprd
Instance upaprda is not running on node pogoltdb1a
Instance upaprdb is not running on node pogoltdb1b
Instance upaprdc is not running on node pogoltdb1c

Why is it showing this message, when all the instances are running on these nodes. When I am trying to view node status, it's showing fine:

Howdy, Stranger!
