 Hi all
I'm new for setting up a RAC with ASM over NFS. Need some expert advise on setting up the ASM disk groups.

I'm running a 2-node RAC (RHEL AS 4.5, Oracle 10gR2) with ASM over NFS.

NFS -
Netapp 3020 with 42 x 750GB SATA 7.2 KRPM.
-aggr0 - RAID-DP 14 disks
-aggr1 - RAID-DP 14 disks
-aggr2 - RAID-DP 12 disks

The database requires at least 7.5TB (Max 15TB) for its data files. This is used for a datawarehouse with data  inserted at a 15 mins interval. The application will generate some reports based on the data collected.

I have a few questions:

1) how should i create the volumes on the netapp ?

Howdy, Stranger!
