Is there a way to have more than one Requisition Import running at the same time

The standard Oracle concurrent job (Requisition Import) is incompatible with itself. Is there a way we can change this or reason why we would want to define it incompatible with itself.

We have automated our Sales Order to PO creation process. When a Sales Order gets imported in our system, it comes in as Booked thereby causing Requisition to get created and  PO creation process (customized), at times we have noted that Requisition Import is very slow or takes a lot of time causing a big queue of Requisitions Import.
