  <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0cm; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:EN-GB;} @page Section1 {size:612.0pt 792.0pt; margin:72.0pt 90.0pt 72.0pt 90.0pt; mso-header-margin:36.0pt; mso-footer-margin:36.0pt; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} -->

Is there a way or process for repairing broken links other than to manually check out and edit every content item?

I understand that the Link Manager can be used to identify invalid links but the issue is that time to time we need to move content out of original Accounts to give different level of security. (E.g. A project document that was originally sensitive may need to be made public after a certain date or event. This would break the links in other documents that point to this document. Adding users or groups to the original account is not feasible as it may contain other documents that need to remain secured)

Howdy, Stranger!
