position hierarchy
if I create a new position hierarchy and create new position structure with all new positions and existing positions underneath and then assign all these new positions to employees and then assign this new posi Hierarchy to document type and end date the old position hierarchy.
by this way my old pos structure will be un touched and in case of any failure, i have to just re assigned the old position names to employees and then assign position hierarchy to document type.
is this the correct approach to re-organised the position hierarchy?
