Is hz_loc_assignments_obs related to hz_loc_assignments?

 Hello friends,

I came to know that the object hz_loc_assignments which was a table in 11i, has been obsoleted in R12 and has been created as a synonym for a view ZX_LOC_ASSIGNMENTS_V. There is a new table with a name hz_loc_assignments_obs available in R12 now. I tried to find is this any way related to hz_loc_assignments in Metalink, but failed. Could you please give me some idea about hz_loc_assignments_obs table?
