Rman and Netbackup

   Hi,

We have to upgrade our version of Netbackup from 5 to 6.5.

In case of using rman to make a cold backup of a  database, must we link rman with Netbackup (Backup on tape)?

Some of my collegue think  we need to link Rman with Netbackup only in case of hot backup.

If someone has a reference of an official document ,i would appreciate it.
