problems when starting gsd daemon

 hi everybody!

i can't start gsd daemon after i installed the oracle9208 software. I can successfully execute 'srvconfig -init' but when i execute 'srvconfig -version'  i got those messages:

srvconfig -version
java.lang.NullPointerException
        at java.text.MessageFormat.format(MessageFormat.java)
        at java.text.MessageFormat.format(MessageFormat.java)
        at java.text.MessageFormat.format(MessageFormat.java)
        at oracle.ops.mgmt.nls.MessageBundle.getMessage(MessageBundle.java:225)
        at oracle.ops.mgmt.rawdevice.RawDeviceUtil.main(RawDeviceUtil.java:2320)
Exception in thread "main"

and the following is the trace message of the command 'gsd.sh':

gsd.sh
[main] [10:49:50:757] [line# N/A]  Daemon: argument is /oracle/app/product/9.2.0
