using CONVERT FUNCTION

Hello, 

We use scripts to extract the data and transform from SJIS Database Character Set to another Database with UTF8 or AL32***Character Set for  migration. Can we use the 'convert function' in the Data Migration scripts. These would be PL SQL

We use Oracle 10.2.0.3
