Oracle 11g Installation Problem

 Hi
During the 11g installation, I got Database Configuration Assistant Warning:

"Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the following error-
Listener is not up. Start the Listener and run EM Configuration Assistant again.
...
"

I try to start the listener after the installation. But I got "Connect failed because target host or object does not exist" error.

I'm running CentOS 5.2 64 bit. Here's the log file:
[oracle@oracledev ~]$ more /u01/app/oracle/cfgtoollogs/dbca/demodb/emConfig.log
Feb 11, 2009 12:32:59 PM oracle.sysman.emcp.ParamsManager setFlag
CONFIG: Flag '-migrate' set to false
