AWR reports and CPU seconds
Hello everyone!
I've been generating AWR reports through Toad 9.7 (no logon access to the database server) as a part of a tuning activity where we want to lower the usage of CPU as used CPU seconds is a major part in calculating the monthly cost that we are charged. We are also setting up different scenarios where we calculate the cost based on tuning, so we are looking for an value that is a good reference on the total CPU have used.
The below examples is from an AWR report covering 24 hours on a 10.2.0.3 enterprise database running on a eight core Itanium. In the "Server Statistics" I am given:
