Materialized Views 11g
Hi there,
now I am encountering some complex issues while I am performing a 10.2.0.4/32bit/Windows Server 2003 platform to a 11.1.0.7/64bit/Windows Server 2003 migration for my customer. The issues are related to Materialized View Refresh (complete refresh).
While refreshing single MVs seems to be reasonably fast, refreshing them through the use the REFRESH_DEPENDENT or REFRESH_ALL call causes very wierd and complex wait situations. Describing that can get very clomplex too. So before trying to describe this here, I would like just to ask, if there have been any changes in the internal MV-REFRESH internal processing since 10.2.0.4. In the documentation I could not find anything in this area. If there is a metalink document or anything for me to read, please point this out. If anybody is interested, I can supply details.
