Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. is sga_max_size an instance level parameter or database level parameter

I have a question about sga_max_size in RAC?

We recently got physical memory upgraded on both the machine in 2 node RAC.

Can we increase sga_max_size one node at a time by stopping and starting an intsance rather than bouncing the whole database?

Or is it database level static parameter?
