perl.exe consuming sharable memory in 9.2 database

The following SQL showed up in a recent Statspack (v 9.2.0.8) report.  It's being executed from a windows client using Perl.exe.  The host db (v 9.2.0.8) is on Tru64 UNIX.  I'm curious to find out why this SQL is taking so much memory.

The CBO is using a view to resolve the query but I'm not sure if that's the reason for excessive use of memory or could it be Perl?
