ORA-19507 when restoring using RMAN catalog with Data Domain

We have been using RMAN catalog backups with NetBackup (NB) and a tape robot system.  The backups worked most of the time and I have recovered and/or duplicated several databases.

Recently we started using Data Domain Recovery (DDR) with RMAN and NB.  We followed the instructions from DDR and modified the scripts that NB runs so that we use multiple channels with one file being backed up per channel.   The type is still specified as SBT which is what DD said to do.

Everything has run pretty well.  But I just tried to duplicate a database from a successful backup and got the following error:
