Automatic creation of supplier out of an employee

I am looking into importing employee information from PeopleSoft into Oracle eBS (both in HR and AP).
In the screens and during import from iExpense, you can make a supplier out of an employee automatically. The addresss remains stored in HR (in TCA in think) and an 'expense payment site' is created in Oracle.
Plus, there is the "Employee Update Program" to automatically update suppliers if employee info changes.
I was wondering whether someone has every used the underlying packages such that all employee data is imported in HR and synchronized via standard functionality to AP. This way, the AP open interface would not have to be used.
