Personalization of Supplier Form(R12)

 Dear , I have a requirement to Generate the Custom Supplier/Vendor Number in Supplier Form (R12) ,In a Custom Function i have Written a  Logic to generate Supplier Sequence Number.How Would like to Know How to call the Function in the Supplier Form.

In 11i(Forms 6i) Supplier Form We have Provision to Call a 'Custom Functions ' Via  Special Menu..

Is there any similar Ways of Doing 11i Personalizations(Implementing Business Rules) On New Web based UI/Forms compared .

I m intersted to Know 'How to Personalize New Web based User interface' .Share me any Documents which are usefull for Customizing or Personalizing New User Interfaces.
