How To Run An Asset Trace?

If on 11i.FA.M or higher, you can run the asset trace from the application.

Fixed Assets Manager > Other > Requests > Run > Generate Asset Trace
Parameters:  BOOK and ASSET NUMBER

For customers on patchset level 11i.FA.K or 11i.FA.L, we recommend to apply Patch 5751070, which is the standalone patch to install the 'Generate asset trace'  (FATRACE) program.

If you do not have the asset trace installed yet, please search on Note 69226.1.
If you use MRC, please search on Note 112869.1

This sql file requires two inputs:
- asset_id
- book_type_code

Please get them from the following select:
