Adding flexfield to SSHR

I want to add a field from the Assignment DFF to the employment tab on the 'my employee details' page.

I've tried personalising the page, by creating an item at the right point as 'Message Styled Text'.

I've set: 

View Attribute: ASS_ATTRIBUTE1

View Instance: AsgSummaryVO

but I get an error when trying to load the page. 

Does anyone have any ideas where I'm going wrong or have an example of a completed item?
