redolog files timestamp not changed for many days

Does it make sense for the redo log files of my database to still have a time stamp of 2/21/2009 on them if this database is a very active database?

I thought the redologs were touched with update activity even if we don't have the db in archive log mode.  We perform nightly cold backups and do not have archiving on.
