ASM to file system conversion

We are going down the path of RAC on ASM  10.2.0.4 on Solaris   We currently have a standby dtabase on a seperate server from the production one.  When we transition to RAC/ASM will we be able to use RMAN to "duplicate" the database from the RAC node to the seperate server and put the datafiles in a file system as opposed to ASM.

Basically, we want to copy the database from RAC/ASM to a standalone with datafiles on file systems for a standby database.

Is it possible using RMAN?
