Removing a database from Grid Control

I removed a database from Grid Control. 17 hours later the database has still not been completely removed. The 'time delete completed' field has still not updated and is still showing the 'deletion not completed' message. I tried to force deletion, but couldn't. How do I complete deleting the database.
