E-Business Tax & AR Configuration for GB VAT Tax Regime

 Has anyone managed to get VAT to calculate on an AR invoice / credit memo using GB TAX?  I have configured E-Business Tax for the GB VAT Tax Regime based on the GB VAT example in the manual but no VAT is calculated.  Has anyone got any useful tips they can pass on or a BR100 they can pass on to me.
