How to Health check oracle apps 11.0.3

Apologies for the long question (but a not complex one)
I am new to this and have been asked by a potentially new client to review, healthcheck and audit their old oracle apps systems and make recommendations - they installed
it via 1 hr install option . I was therefore wondering if you could point on
the right path /documents/guidelines/scripts that could assist with this
please. This is my first audit of this nature and want to make sure I cover
every thing and make prudent recommendations.
For example upgrading their technology tier to latest supported products. This is their medium term goal
