Uploading Inventory Items

Hi,

In Oracle apps 11i, we have created a new inventory organization. Now we need to upload hundreds of Inventory Items with current on-hand quantities in the main warehouse subinventory, to the application. 

What are the possible solutions and which one is the easiest and safest to implement?

I have been seeking for guidance for a while. Details or action plan of the suggested solution will be very much appreciated.

Please help me..
