Oracle DATAFILE renaming

We run Oracle APPS version 11.5.10.2 - our backend is a 9.2.0.5 database on HP PA-RISC - 64Bit.

During the course of the past two years, I have had to add datafiles to keep pace with growth.

It appears that during two of these datafile 'add attempts', I added the files (using OEM) but named them incorrectly. This mistake was not noticed until a few months ago and since the datafiles has been registered with the DBID, there are no inherent problems with the APPS stack.

The two files that have been incorrectly named are as follows.....

"a_txn_ind35dbf" instead of a_txn_ind35.dbf (the '.' is missing between the file name and
