PO Creation for Future Months expense....

Is is possible to create 1 po for 12 months worth of expense. For example Vendor A will invoice us $10,000 each month for 12 months. Can a po be created to reflect each month within it? Also, can the purchasing accrual only accrue the current month if the invoice has not yet been matched/paid?
