Discoverer Plus connection to multiple databases

I'm fairly new to oracle and discoverer so I will try to explain this the best I can.  We cloned our production reporting database, we were able to bring that instance up with a different name and connect to it via TOAD.  On Our discoverer server we can connect to our production database but not the new instance. The error we receive is " Authentication Failed. (Unable to connect, possibly due to an invalid Applications FNDNAM setting. Please contact your Discoverer manager.: Database Error - ORA-00942: table or view does not exist )" However in Desktop Discoverer if I supply the
